Drumbowie Reservoir

A small reservoir with an earth embankment dam in Falkirk Council Area, Drumbowie is located 2 miles (3 km) southwest of Denny and 5 miles (8 km) north northeast of Cumbernauld in North Lanarkshire. Opened in 1901 for the supply of drinking-water, it is now operated by Scottish Water and covers an area of 11.9 ha (29 acres). It is connected to Little Denny Reservoir to the east.
