Lochee Park

A public park in west central Dundee, Lochee Park lies 2 miles (3 km) west northwest of the city centre, immediately to the north of Balgay Park although the two are very different in character. Balgay is for the most part a wooded hilltop, whereas Lochee comprises sports fields, a pavilion, a play area and a bowling green. It extends to 10 ha (25 acres) and was the gift of the Cox Brothers of Camperdown Works in 1891.
