Cairn Toul


(Carn an t-Sabhail)

Rising to a height of 1291m (4236 feet) in the Cairngorm Mountains, Cairn Toul lies on the border between Highland and Aberdeenshire Council Areas. It is the fourth highest peak in Britain, qualifies as a Munro, and its name is derived from the Gaelic Carn an t-Sabhail meaning "peak of the barn".
