A small secluded loch in east Perth and Kinross, Loch Clunie lies in the valley of the Lunan Burn, 3 miles (5 km) west of Blairgowrie. The ruins of Clunie Castle, a former tower house of the Bishops of Dunkeld, occupies a small island in the loch and the hamlet of Clunie lies on its southwest shore.
