Mouth of the River Esk at Musselburgh

The River Esk is one of the main rivers of East Lothian District Council Area. Formed by the merging of the River North Esk with the River South Esk, the River Esk is formed 1 mile (1.5 km) north of the settlement of Dalkeith. Flowing northward to the Firth of Forth, it passes the settlements of Whitecraig and Inveresk before entering the Firth at Musselburgh.
