River Bran at Achnasheen

A river in Easter Ross-shire, the River Bran rises in Loch a' Chroisg and flows 10 miles (16 km) eastwards through Strath Bran to enter Loch Achanalt, Loch a' Chuilinn and then Loch Luichart. The first mile (1.4 km) of the river - to the junction with Abhainn a' Chomair at Achnasheen - is sometimes known as the Abhainn Loch a' Chroisg.
