River Lossie at Lossiemouth

A river of Moray that rises in headstreams to the southeast of Elgin, the River Lossie flows north and northeast for 31 miles (50 km) to join the sea at Lossiemouth. It passes through Elgin and has as its main tributaries the Leanoch Burn and the Back Burn. Close to Lossiemouth it is joined by the Innes Canal and Spynie Canal, features associated with the drainage of the area.
