Green Lowther

Green Lowther is the highest peak in the Lowther Hills, that range of hills which form part of the Southern Uplands and stretches from Duneaton Water in the northwest to Annandale in the southeast. Located 2 miles (3 km) southeast of Leadhills in South Lanarkshire and a mile (2 km) southeast of Wanlockhead, Green Lowther reaches a height of 732m (2401 feet), classifying it as a Graham. There are several arrays of telecommunications masts on its summit.
