Jed Water

A river of Roxburghshire in the Scottish Borders, the Jed Water rises as the Raven Burn on Carlin Tooth in the Cheviot Hills. It flows nearly 22 miles (35 km) north to join the River Teviot near Jedfoot Bridge, 2 miles (3 km) north of Jedburgh. The Jed Forest once occupied the valley of the Jed Water.
