Bridge over River Yarrow at the entrance to Bowhill

Flowing from the northeastern end of St. Mary's Loch, within the Ettrick Forest of the Scottish Borders, the Yarrow Water flows 13 miles (20 km) in a northeasterly direction. It passes through the settlements of Yarrow Feus, Yarrow, Yarrowford and Selkirk before emptying into the River Tweed 3 miles (5 km) southwest of Melrose.
