Skiport, Loch (Loch Sgioport) A sealoch on the eastern coastline of South Uist in the Western Isles, Loch Skiport, (Gael: Loch Sgioport), lies 12 miles (20 km) north of Lochboisdale. The small hamlet of Lochskipport lies at the head of the loch, while Ornish Island lies in the entrance to the loch and a mile (1.5 km) to the north is the lesser inlet of Loch Sheilavaig.
