Strone Point

A wooded headland which lies at the eastern side of the entrance to Loch Shira in Argyll and Bute Council Area, Strone Point extends into Loch Fyne opposite Inveraray. Another Strone Point lies 10 miles (16 km) to the northeast. There is another Strone Point 18 miles (29 km) to the south southeast. The A83 road, once a military road extending to Kintyre, curves around the shore of this headland.
