Midland NessSituated on the southern coastline of the Orkney mainland, Midland Ness is a headland that extends into the Bring Deeps, which separates the mainland from Hoy to the southwest. To the west of Midland Hope lies Houton Head and one mile (2 km) northeast lies Orphir.
