Travel Centre (formerly underground entrance), St. Enoch Square

Located within St. Enoch Square, the station serves Glasgow's Underground system, alternatively known as the Clockwork Orange because it is painted orange and goes round in circles!

The station was once entered through a small building built by James Miller in 1896, which is a mix of Baronial and Jacobean styles. Originally the Glasgow Subway Company's Headquarters, the building provided the station entrance until 1977. It is now the Glasgow's travel information centre, the station entrance having been improved to allow escalator access.
