Achnashellach Railway Station

Achnashellach Railway Station (Gael: Achadh nan Seileach) lies on the Kyle of Lochalsh Line, a short distance northeast of Achnashellach Lodge and 7½ miles (12 km) northeast of Attadale in Highland. This station was built with the Dingwall & Skye Railway and opened in 1870. It is preceded by Achnasheen Railway Station, 12 miles (19 km) to the east northeast, and followed by Strathcarron, 5½ miles (9 km) to the southwest. Operated by ScotRail, Achnashellach Railway Station is unstaffed and was used by only 778 passengers in 2009-10.
