Linn of Dee

A series of cascades on the upper reaches of the River Dee in Aberdeenshire, nearly 7 miles (11 km) west of Braemar, the Linn of Dee forms a rugged and rocky narrow neck in the river some 300 yards in length. Queen Victoria opened a new bridge here in September 1857.
