The Monadhliath Mountains are a range of mountains that mark the border between the Inverness and Badenoch and Strathspey districts of Highland Council Area. Running in a northeast to southwest direction, the mountains lie on the western side of Strathspey and reach a summit of 945m (3100 feet) at Carn Dearg, 16 miles (24 km) south of Inverness.
