A peninsula, sometimes described as an island, in the Orkney Islands. South Walls is attached by a narrow neck of land, known as The Ayre, to the south end of the island of Hoy. The name is more correctly 'South Waas' or 'South Voes'. Its chief settlement is Longhope which looks out onto an inlet of the same name. The island of Flotta lies to the northeast.
