Built in 1939 to a design by the architect William J. Anderson, the Glasgow Film Theatre (GFT) sits at the corner of Renfrew Street and Rose Street and stands as testimony to the Glaswegian love of cinema. Home to art house and foreign movies, it has retained much of its unique architectural exterior, although much of its interior has been lost through renovation.
