Braefoot Bay Marine Terminal

Located on the northern shore of the Firth of Forth, between Dalgety Bay and Aberdour in Fife, Braefoot Bay Marine Terminal is a tanker terminal focussed on the export of liquefied petroleum gas to markets in Europe and the USA. Opened in 1984 and operated jointly by Shell Expro and ExxonMobil, the terminal includes storage tanks and a two-spur jetty, which extends into the deep waters of Mortimer's Deep, towards the island of Inchcolm. Braefoot handled 3.6 million tonnes of natural gas products in 2001, transported to the terminal by underground pipeline from Mossmorran, 4 miles (6.5 km) inland.

The Fife Coastal Path diverts inland to avoid the facility.
