The Old Burgh Buildings

Designed by local architects Alexander and William Black in a variant of the Scots Baronial style, and completed in 1879, the Old Burgh Buildings are located on Newmarket Street in Falkirk town centre. Once containing the Council Chamber and Committee Room, along with a court room, witnesses' room, Fiscal's Office, Collector's Rooms and the Town Clerk's Office, the building is now home to the Falkirk Registrar's Office, with the Marriage Room being located in the former Council Chamber.
