Old Gala House Museum

The Gala House Museum in Galashiels in the Scottish Borders was once home to the Lairds of Gala and dates from 1583. It was reopened in 1988 and provides information regarding the house, its inhabitants and the early growth of the town of Galashiels, as well as displays on local heritage and arts.
