Loch Aulasary


(Loch Amhlasaraigh)

A wide sea loch on the northeast coast of North Uist in the Outer Hebrides, Loch Aulasary (Gael: Loch Amhlasaraigh) opens onto the Sound of Harris. The loch is shallow and contains numerous rocks and islets. The uninhabited island of Stromay closes the loch to the northwest.
