A substantial village hall, located at the northern end of the village of Killin (Stirling), the McLaren Hall was built in 1935 by A. & L. Barr of Stirling as part of a bequest to the people of Killin and the surrounding district by Archibald McLaren, a farmer at Ardeonaig. It comprises a white-harled box-shaped hall, with slender buttresses, behind an ashlar facade with a central clock tower. The clock tower has a pyramid-shaped roof and the parapets are decorated with saltires. The hall is owned by a Trust, while the day-to-day running of the hall is the responsibility of a committee of management.
