A group of three small reservoirs, all retained by earth embankment dams, in Stirling Council Area, the Touch Reservoirs are located amongst the Touch Hills, 4 miles (6.5 km) west southwest of Stirling. Touch No. 2 is the lowest and smallest, with Touch No.3 immediately to the west. These have a combined area of 9.2 ha (22 acres). Opening in 1896, Touch No. 4 is the largest, extending to 11.4 ha (28 acres) a quarter-mile (0.5 km) to the west southwest of the others. All are operated by Scottish Water for the supply of drinking-water.
