Kinross Curling Rink

Located on Green Road close to the centre of Kinross (Perth and Kinross), Kinross Curling Rink comprises a four-lane indoor ice-rink dedicated solely to the sport of curling. It was opened in 1977 by the neighbouring Green Hotel. In need of investment and in danger of closing the rink was taken over by the Kinross Curling Trust in 2013 and has subsequently been completely refurbished. The rink is home to more than thirty curling clubs, including Scotland's oldest - Kinross Curling Club which was founded in 1668. It also provides a base for the Kinross Curling School which was launched in 2001 to coordinate, develop and promote curling at all levels including juniors, the visually-impaired and wheelchair users. A bar on an upper level provides a viewing gallery looking out across the rink.
