A collection of monuments at the entrance to the Douglas Estate on the northern edge of the village of Douglas in South Lanarkshire. A camp was established nearby in June 1940 for more than 3000 soldiers of the 10th Motorised Cavalry Brigade, under the command of General Stanislaw Maczek (1892 - 1994), who had escaped following the German invasion of France. A square memorial pillar was presented to the village by General Maczek in 1940, in gratitude for the hospitality and kindness his troops had received. In 2002, other two other monuments were moved to this location and the Douglas Gardening Club established the memorial garden.
