Aberdour Railway Station

Aberdour Railway Station (Gael: Obar Dhobhair) lies on the Fife Circle Line, just to the southwest of Aberdour Castle in the centre of the village of the same name. This station was originally owned by North British Railway and was opened in 1890. It is preceded by Dalgety Bay Railway Station, 2¾ miles (4.5 km) to the west southwest, and followed by Burntisland, 2½ miles (4 km) to the east. Operated by ScotRail, Aberdour Station is staffed part-time and was used by 131,874 passengers per annum in 2009-10.
