Loch Eil Outward Bound Railway Station

A halt on the West Highland Line, Loch Eil Outward Bound Railway Station (Gael: Loch Iall airson Spòrs A-Muigh) lies on the north shore of Loch Eil, 2¾ miles (4.5 km) west northwest of Corpach in Highland Council Area. This station was opened in 1985 to serve the adjacent outdoor centre. It comprises a single platform on the north side of the railway. It is preceded by Corpach Railway Station, 2¾ miles (4.5 km) to the east southeast, and followed by Locheilside, 3¾ miles (6 km) to the west. Operated by ScotRail, Loch Eil Outward Bound Railway Station is unstaffed and was used by only 548 passengers in 2009-10.
