Renton Railway Station

Renton Railway Station (referred to as An Reantan in Gaelic) is situated on the North Clyde Line in West Dunbartonshire. Located in the town centre, this station opened in 1850 on the Caledonian & Dunbartonshire Junction Railway. The station comprises a solitary platform on a single-track line. Now operated by ScotRail, Renton Station is unstaffed and was used by 118,166 passengers per annum (2016). It is preceded by Dalreoch Railway Station, 1½ miles (2.5 km) to the south, and followed by Alexandria, a mile (1.5 km) to the north northeast.
