Woodhall Railway Station


(Taigh na Coille)

A railway station on the southern shore of the Firth of Clyde in Port Glasgow, Woodhall (Gael: Taigh na Coille) lies on the Inverclyde Line, a mile (1.5 km) east of the town centre. Opened in 1945, Woodhall is now operated by ScotRail and staffed part-time. It is used by 46,248 passengers per annum (2016). Woodhall Station is preceded by Langbank Railway Station, 2¾ miles (4.5 km) to the east southeast and followed by Port Glasgow, 1¼ miles (2 km) to the west.
