A road-rail interchange, distribution hub and manufacturing centre located at Mossend (North Lanarkshire), to the south of the A8/M8 road and east of the M74. One of Scotland's largest commercial developments, the site extends to more than 263 ha (650 acres) and is strategically located close to the motorway network between Glasgow and Edinburgh. The site developed in association with Scotland's Channel Tunnel Rail Freight Terminal which opened in 1994.

Eurocentral, which offers 'Enterprise Zone' status, has attracted several major international manufacturers and distribution / logistics companies. The first development was a factory for the Taiwanese company Chunghwa Picture Tubes, which was opened by Queen Elizabeth II in 1997, but quickly suffered major job losses due to a market downturn. Eurocentral also includes a substantial newspaper printing plant, owned by News International and producing titles such as The Sun and The Times.
