An A-listed building located on Rose Terrace in Perth, part of a fine Georgian parade of properties which overlook the North Inch. Built in 1803-07 as the Public Seminaries, housing Perth Academy and Perth Grammar School, it remained home to the Academy until the 1930s. The architect was Robert Reid (1774 - 1856). The Roman Doric facade is surmounted by a balustrade and grand pedestal added in 1886 which contains a clock by James Ritchie of Edinburgh and a grand statue of Britannia by W. Birnie Rhind (1853 - 1933).
The building was refurbished by Muirfield Investments during the 1990s to provide quality office accommodation.
