Parish of Arbirlot Arbirlot is a coastal parish, which lies in Angus Council Area, some 3 miles (5 km) west of Arbroath and 4 miles (6 km) north of Carnoustie in Angus.It is located in the old county of Forfarshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.The parish has an area of 27.3 sq. km (10.5 sq. miles).
