Parish of OrwellOrwell is a parish, which lies in Perth and Kinross Council Area, some 2 miles (4 km) north of Kinross and 11 miles (17 km) south of Perth in Perth and Kinross.
It is located in the old county of Kinross-shire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.
The parish has an area of 53 sq. km (20.4 sq. miles). Orwell has 7 neighbouring parishes; namely Arngask, Dunning, Forteviot, Fossoway, Kinross, Portmoak and Strathmiglo.
