Parish of Eyemouth

Eyemouth is a small coastal parish, which lies in the Scottish Borders Council Area, some 11 miles (18 km) northeast of Duns and 16 miles (26 km) north of Coldstream in the Scottish Borders.

It is located in the old county of Berwickshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.

The parish has an area of 4.4 sq. km (1.7 sq. miles) and includes the settlement of Eyemouth. Eyemouth has Ayton and Coldingham as its neighbouring parishes. The boundaries of this parish were modified among significant changes recommended by the Boundary Commissioners after the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1889.
