Parish of Kilmory Kilmory is a coastal island parish, which lies on the island of Arran in North Ayrshire Council Area, some 5 miles (8 km) west of Brodick in North Ayrshire and 16 miles (26 km) northeast of Campbeltown in Argyll and Bute and includes another small offshore island.It is located in the old county of Bute and Arran, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.The parish has an area of 273 sq. km (105.4 sq. miles).
