Parish of SproustonSprouston is a parish bordering England, which lies in the Scottish Borders Council Area, some 3 miles (5 km) east of Kelso and 5 miles (8 km) southwest of Coldstream in the Scottish Borders.
It is located in the old county of Roxburghshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.
The parish has an area of 35.3 sq. km (13.6 sq. miles). Sprouston has 5 neighbouring Scottish parishes; namely Eccles, Eckford, Ednam, Kelso and Linton.
