Parish of Campbeltown

Campbeltown is a coastal parish, which lies in Argyll and Bute Council Area, some 22 miles (35 km) southwest of Brodick in North Ayrshire and 31 miles (50 km) south of Tarbert in Argyll and Bute and includes a small offshore island.

It is located in the old county of Argyllshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.

The parish has an area of 179.3 sq. km (69.2 sq. miles) and includes the settlement of Campbeltown. Campbeltown has Killean & Kilchenzie, Saddell & Skipness and Southend as its neighbouring parishes.
