Louise Scullion

1966 -

Artist. Born in Helensburgh (Argyll and Bute), Scullion trained at Glasgow School of Art. Since 1993, Scullion has collaborated with Matthew Dalziel (b.1957) from a studio based in the Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art at University of Dundee, where both are lecturers. They create artworks in photography, video, sound and sculpture that explore ecological subjects and have exhibited internationally.

Their commissions include The Horn (1997), which forms part of the M8 artworks project, Modern Nature (2000) on Elrick Hill (Aberdeen), The Ontological Garden (2003) for the Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital, One Minute (2005) a film-work produced for the opening of Perth Concert Hall and More Than Us (2007) for Great Glen House in Inverness, together with works for Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, the Science Museum, Sadler's Wells Theatre and Heathrow Airport in London. Awards include the Henry Moore Foundation Award (2001) and the Saltire Award for Art in Architecture (2005 and 2007).
