Rower. Born in Edinburgh, the daughter of a Royal Navy officer, Hosking was educated in London, where she started rowing at the age of 14, and at the University of Durham. She won a bronze medal in the lightweight women's double scull at the 2011 World Rowing Championships in Slovenia and a gold medal in the same event in the 2012 London Olympic Games. Hosking was awarded an MBE in the New Year's Honours List of 2013. She lives in Wimbledon (London).
