Thomas (Tom) Brewster


1974 -

International curler. Born in St. Andrews, the son of curling parents, Brewster was raised in Aberdeen. He started curling having suffered an injury which ruled out contact sports in his youth, he was skip of the Scottish junior team which won a gold medal in the World Championship in 1995. Brewster made his senior debut at the World Championships of 2003, where his team took a bronze medal. His team won a gold medal at the European Mixed Championships of 2006 and 2009 and he skipped the team that won a silver medal at the World Men's Championships in 2011 and 2012. He was a member of teams which took a bronze medal at the 2013 World Championships in Canada and a silver medal in the Winter Olympics at Sochi in 2014.

Brewster manages the Curl Aberdeen ice rink.
