Norman Ainsley


1881 - 1948

Screen and stage actor. Born in Edinburgh. He had small parts in several films including Scotland Yard (1930), with fellow Scot Donald Crisp (1880 - 1974), Lost Horizon (1937), starring alongside Ronald Coleman and Jane Wyatt, and the comedy Cluny Brown (1946).

Ainsley died in Hollywood and is buried at Glendale (California, USA).
