A village of South Lanarkshire, Dalserf is situated on the River Clyde 2 miles (3 km) east of Larkhall and 7 miles (11 km) southeast of Hamilton. The area was formerly associated with the mining of ironstone, sandstone and coal. The Old Kirk here dates from 1655.
