Bolfracks

A location, former village and estate in Perth and Kinross, Bolfracks overlooks the River Tay 2 miles (3 km) west of Aberfeldy and 3 miles (5 km) east northeast of Kenmore. Bolfracks House, situated in the shadow of Bolfracks Hill, is an extended 18th-century farmhouse. The village was cleared between 1823 and 1860. Bolfracks burial ground remains, with a mausoleum for Menzies family which was built in 1870. Bolfracks Cottage lies on the A827 road to the northeast.
