Dumfries and Galloway

A small village of north Dumfries and Galloway, Crawick is situated a half-mile (1 km) to the northwest of Sanquhar. The village lies across the course of the Crawick Water and a half mile (1 km) north of its confluence with the River Nith. The Crawick Multiverse is a landscape sculpture and venue created in 2015 by Charles Jencks (1939 - 2019) on the site of a former open-cast coal mine.
