Argyll and Bute

A linear village hugging the northern shoreline of the Holy Loch, Kilmun is located 2 miles (3 km) north of the settlement of Strone, Argyll and Bute. Strone Point lies a mile (1.5 km) to the south of the village while across the loch lies the settlement of Sandbank. Kilmun Parish Church dates from the 12th C. and includes the burial vault of the Dukes and Earls of Argyll.
