Achentoul
HighlandA small settlement at the head of the Strath of Kildonan in E Sutherland (Highland Council Area), Achentoul lies to the east of the Bannock Burn, a stream that flows from the northeast. The settlement is situated a mile (1.5 km) north of Kinbrace and south of Loch an Ruathair. Achentoul Lodge is located 1¼ miles (2 km) to the north.
