A location at the end of Glen Ogil in N Central Angus, Ogil lies 6 miles (10 km) north of Forfar and comprises the farms of Milton of Ogil, Easter Ogil and Mains of Ogil, with the Den of Ogil Reservoir located a half-mile (1 km) to the west. HM Prison Noranside lies a mile (1.5 km) to the east.
