Ferniehirst
Scottish BordersA location in the Scottish Borders, Ferniehirst lies on the right bank of the Gala Water, 4 miles (6.5 km) northwest of Galashiels. Ferniehirst Hill rises to the west. This Ferniehirst should not be confused with the castle, 20 miles (32 km) to the southeast.
